Donna Summer family released a statement Thursday saying Summer had died and that they "are at peace celebrating her extraordinary life and her continued legacy."' TMZ first reported the news, noting Summer had died in Florida on Thursday after a long battle with cancer. Insiders told TMZ she was recently working on music for a new album.

Known as the "Queen of Disco," Donna Summer was born in Boston, Mass. in 1948, as one of seven children. The five-time Grammy winner rose to fame in the 1970s, scoring hits with "Last Dance," "Hot Stuff" and "Bad Girls." Donna Summer co-wrote the single "Love to Love You Baby" in 1975, and went on to co-write several other hits, including "She Works Hard For Her Money." Summer appeared in the 1978 film, "Thank God It's Friday," which took home the best original song Oscar for "Last Dance." Donna Summer married Brooklyn Dreams vocalist Bruce Sudano in 1980.

Hacked Websites spread Android Malware - We have previously reviewed the Greeting Cards for Mother’s Day, and Five Smartphone Applications Guide to Photography, Now we will review about Android Malware. Lookout Mobile Phone Security analysts have discovered a website that has been hacked to spread malicious software to machines running Android, a clear new attack for the mobile phone operating system. The way of attack is identified as a drive-by download and mainly it is frequent on the desktop. When a person visits a hacked site, transparently malware infect the PC if it doesn’t contain up-to-date patches. Lookout said on its blog, “This appears to be the first time that compromised websites have been used to distribute malware targeting Android devices.”

Lookout stated it observed that “several” websites had been compromised to perform the attack, even though those websites had low traffic. However the company is expecting that the impact of Android clients will be low. Lookout declares that the latest Trojan named “NotCompatible” creates a system update. However in reality seems to provide as a simple TCP relay/proxy. Lookout said, “This threat does not currently appear to cause any direct harm to a target device, but could potentially be used to gain illicit access to private networks by turning an infected Android device into a proxy. This feature in itself could be significant for system IT administrators: a device infected with NotCompatible could potentially be used to gain access to normally protected information or systems, such as those maintained by enterprise or government.” If the hacked website finds an Android device, automatically NotCompatible will start downloading. The hacked site contains an unseen iframe and at the bottom of a web page it carries other contents into the Web site that is targeted. The iframe reasons the browser to drag content from other two malicious websites that is hosting NotCompatible. Lookout said, “If a PC accesses either of those websites, a “not found” error is displayed.” When the malware downloads then the machine will ask users to set up the application.
